| Dr. Sharon Startup graduated from the University of Georgia in 1985 and completed a Small Animal Medicine and Surgery internship at the University of Tennessee in 1986. She has been in private practice in Knoxville since 1986 and has been devoted to the practice of dentistry since 1997.
Dr. Startup spends her free time with her family and she especially enjoys backpacking in the Smokies, wakeboarding on Norris Lake, snowboarding any slope that has snow, trekking, and climbing the occasional mountain. She has five dogs and one cat.
