Who We Are

EastTN GSA is an organization that supports the growth and development of GSAs in our surrounding area high schools and colleges. A Gay-Straight Alliance (GSA) is a student-run club in a high schools or middle schools that brings together LGBTQ and straight students to support each other, mobilize their peers to stand up for safety and equality, provide a safe place to socialize, and create a platform for activism to fight homophobia and bullying.
We currently work with 19 high schools:
Alcoa, Austin East, Bearden, Campbell County, 
Carter, Central, Fulton, Jefferson Co., Halls, 
Hardin Valley, Heritage, Karns, Maryville, 
Oak Ridge, Powell, South Doyle, 
Webb, West, and William Blount.

We also work alongside 3 colleges:
Maryville College GSA, Pellissippi Pride, and UT OUTreach
